This program is an ongoing systematic process that evaluate and promote excellence in the healthcare provided to client
Quality assurance program
There are three components of quality assurance
Structure evaluation
process evaluation
outcome evaluation
Follows client care rather than organizational structure it focuses on process rather than individuals and uses a systematic approach with the intention of improving the quality of care
Quality improvement
It’s focus on identifying and correcting a systems problems such as duplication of services in the hospital

Is a non-profit organization focused on improving health care identified an endors national voluntary standards for nursing sensitive care
National qualify forum
Evaluation of a clients that occurred after discharge from an agency
Retrospective audit
Evaluation of a client’s healthcare while client is still receiving care from the agency

Focuses on setting in which case given example is equipment and staffing
