- Squeeze the press-to-talk switch.
- Regulate volume if required
- To achieve siren, disconnect jock from socket.

(OPERATION)
- unfasten the retaining velcro strap.
- Remove ELT from its bracket.
- Pull firmly to break retaining metallic strap
- Antenna will deploy automatically.
- Take ELT upon evacuation.
- Terrain: activate the ELT by switching the ARMED/OFF/ON toggle switch to ON.
For best transmission: look for an area clear of obstruction. - Water: activate the ELT by switching the ARMED/OFF/ON toggle switch to ON. In ARMED, the ELT will activate automatically by water contact.
Connect snaphook with the lanyard securely to the raft - Red led indicated the ELT works

TERRAIN: Activate the ELT by switching the ARMED/OFF/ON toggle switch to ON.
To improve transmission, look for an area clear of obstruction.

(WATER operation)
WATER: Activate the ELT by switching to ON.
In ARMED, ELT will activate automatically by water contact. Attach the snaphook with the lanyard securely to the raft.

- Look for an open, elevated space
- Hold so antennae swings upward
- Break tapes, unfold plastic bag, fill with water (1/2 water mix with salt)
- Transmission starts automatically.
- To stop: invert the unit.

- Tie END of TOWING LINE to the Raft.
- Throw into water with RED TOP UP.
- Towing Line unwinds automatically.
- Antenna erects.
Transmission starts - To stop: Invert the unit.
