What does she represent?
Representation of voiceless lower class, struggle to get by in life as a women who is isolated and broken. We can see this through her becoming a prostitute
What are her beliefs?
1) Women should have equal rights as men
2) The class system is corrupt
3) Society is unjust because no one is given the same oppotunity
How do the stage directions/other characters describe her?
Pretty but helpless. She is also strong willed through her striving for higher wages against someone like Mr Birling.
