What is a hospice?
A place that makes people comfortable before they die (so they can have a good quality of life) and their family can move in there too.
Who founded the first hospice and what was a called
Dame Cicely Saunders, who created St Christopher’s hospice.

She was an English nurse and social worker that was born on the 22nd of June 1918.

What do Christians believe they should have for each other and what does this mean
Agape love that is a Greek word, which means unconditional.
If a person has agape love for someone would they support Euthanasia?
Yes because it would be too hurtful seeing someone you love go through distress or pain and it would be better to see them rest.

A bill legally set, for adults in certain terms to end their life.
What is active euthanasia?
Actively doing something to end someone’s life (for e.g. giving someone an injection or medication).
What is passive euthanasia
Removing the methods that are keeping someone alive (for e.g. a life support machine).
What disease did Diane Pretty have and what happened to her as a result
She was diagnosed with Motor neurone disease and she ended up dying of the disease at the hospital after her appeal to the court (that she wanted to use Euthanasia to die) was rejected many times.
Do you think the court made the right decision and why?
Because she asked the court many times which was her choice and her own rights (which she thought were being stripped away from her as a result).
Could you argue that the current UK law would let her die?
The current UK law would let her die because she was over the age of 18, she was going to die and she was in a good mental state.
