A
The weight in grams of the DNA in a haploid genome

What is the relationship between how much of the gene encodes proteins and the size of the organism?
A
As the organism gets smaller, the percentage of the genetic sequence encoding protein increases

How are multicellular eukaryotes described as? Why?
A
-‘inefficient’ ie much more DNA in genome than needed to encode proteins
- introns interrupt genes
- non-gene DNA (including repeats)

A
