What is a stereotype ?
A simplified and misleading representation of a group, composed of typical characteristics of members of that group.
What is Prejudice ?
A preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience.
May involve expecting the individual to act in a certain way because they are from a certain background is prejudice.
What is discrimination?
The unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people, especially on the grounds of race, age or sex.
Discrimination is the acting out of prejudice (treating people differently)
