Society is racist to ethnic minorities and this reflects their feelings in school
Eg, they feel excluded due to feeling unsafe from landlords.
They feel that they don’t have SOCIAL STATUS

They don’t feel included in society and don’t have a status, due to racism

No space to work

-debt

Students lack intellectual and linguistic skills
(English isn’t their first language)
Absence of male father figure in black homes, lack of discipline
Attitudes and values different is main stream, risk of being bullied

Critical race theory
Marketisation and ethnic segregation

Racism in school, is subconsciously done
It’s come from respected forces in society which isn’t questioned and come into school

Due to schools to be able to pick pupils to come to their schools it allows negative stereotypes to take over schools opinions rather than thinking about the individual
