■ RECID with the public, clients, prospective clients, employers, employees, colleagues in the investment profession, and other participants in the global capital markets - Rspct, Eth, Cmptnc, Intgrty, Dlgnc
■ Integrity of ‘the investment profession’ + Interests of ‘the clients’ > My own interests
■ CPIJ when analyzing, recommending, acting, and engaging in professional invstmnt activities. -Care, Professional Independence and Judgement.
■ Practice and encourage others to reflect credit on themselves as to act ethically.
■ Promote the integrity of and uphold the rules governing capital markets. (Promotion = join a society. Uphold rules = Earn certifications like SOX)
■ Maintain and improve professional competence (Continued education, take 1 class/semester, on weekends) in yourself and others. Cooperation > Competition
