Conditions for moral dilemmas
A
- the person or agent of a moral action is obliged to make a decision about which course of action is best
- there must be different courses of action to choose
- no matter what course of action is taken some moral principles are always compromised –> there is always a loss

- What is the core problem of the dilemma
- who are the stakeholders in the dilemma
- What relevant rules, regulations or guidelines are relevant to the dilemma
- What is the influence of the situation or context
- Which arguments can be formulated
- What is my conclusion/justification
- Will I act according to my conclusion
