A

Asking personal questions and collecting personal information is sometimes required for valid results.
Do not observe without consent, give debrief.
Maintain confidentiality.
Make it clear that pp can withdraw if they feel that question or task is too personal.

A

Incentives can make pp feel obligated to stay.
At the start and during the study, researchers must remind PPs of their right to withdraw.
PPs get to keep incentives even if they withdraw.
