What is lasting power of attorney?
A lasting power of attorney is a legal document that lets someone appoint one or more people (known as ‘attorneys’) to help the patient make decisions or to make decisions on their behalf.
The LPOA must be set up by the patient when they have capacity and rhey can only choose options from what the doctor offers.
