-negative comments in the media leading to lower profits and bad rep - Self fuffiling prophecy, the pps taking the findings as fact and acting in a way that lives up to the result.
- ## Community develops negative attitude due to study. (e.g study shows small increase in violence on old people so old people become more reluctant to volunteer their time in their community.
