What is the purpose of this CR?
From Gencon Chola MS is uploading claims data to ETASS on a daily and monthly basis. GST is to be removed from this claims upload
❓is GST a separate column or is it included in other amounts?
❓Is it 1 upload or multiple uploads?
What is ETASS?
1) Electronic Transaction Administration and Settlement System.
2) Established by the IRDAI/GI Council - to facilitate timely settlement of accounts.
3) Applies to the General Insurance industry.
4) Initially the system will cover one line of business and based on the experience, the system will be expanded to all lines of business as well will cover reinsurance and brokers modules.
Which requirement was not communicated correctly on the ETASS claims upload CR?
1) Service provider fee was currently not included in the upload. Going forward to be included.
2) Fee to be included without GST.
3) Both estimate and paid amounts to be included.
4) should be included under the ALAE tag.
5) currently excess is currently included in the estimated ALAE column. Is this logic to be replaced with estimated service provider fee?
