4 Safety Rules
Treat all firearms as if they are loaded.
Never permit the muzzle of a firearm to cover anything that you are
unwilling to destroy.
Keep your finger off the trigger, outside the trigger guard and along the receiver, until you are committed to a shot.
Be sure of your target and beyond.
Trigger finger rule due to these 3 things
(a) Startle response
(b) Loss of balance
(c) Sympathetic grip response

Hot Range Concept
- Safety is everyone’s responsibility and all safety rules must be adhered to.
- The Range Master will have overall command of the range.
- Do not anticipate the range commands.
- Initially, all pistols on the range will be loaded on command.
- The muzzle of the pistol must be pointed in a safe direction at all times (down range or as instructed by the Range Master).
- The pistol must be holstered before leaving the firing line.
- Do not leave the firing line or pick up anything off the ground without being instructed to do so.
- Ammunition management is your responsibility.
- All pistols on the range will be unloaded and cleared on command.
