Answer 1

1. Joint of CSF: Sterile preparation, take sample with spinal needle and syringe
2. Body cavity fluid/abdominocentesis: use EDTA as anticoagulant
3. Bone marrow sampling: use spinal needle, sterile

Avoid:
1. Check blood coagulation before sampling, increased or longer bleeding can happen.
2. Improper transport, handling and storage
3. Contamination of the sample
4. Maintaining the vacuum when removing the needle in FNA -> can damage the cells
5. Drying too fast
6. Staining mistakes
