If thousand year reign = a rule of indeterminately long time AND - Christ began this reign upon ascension (sits at the right hand)

• He will return bodily once all enemies have been put under his feet
• THEN: Christ’s return follows AFTER reign of Rev 20 (therefore his return is POST)
• Believes (unlike amil) that Christian influence and dominance will increase during this “millennial”

What is amillennialism?

If thousand year reign = a rule of indeterminately long time AND Christ began this reign upon ascension (sits at the right hand)

• This reign is primarily of a spiritual nature over spiritual kingdom (John 18:36, Eph 1:22-23)
• Presently a time of suffering and persecution for the church.
• THEN: His kingdom is already here (in spiritual form - first resurrection) meaning expectation of socio-political reign is wrong headed. Christ is reigning, but amillennially
• Second resurrection will be physical of all the dead for final judgement

What is premillennialism?

Answer 3

If 1000 years is in the future - A silver age in which death can occur, but also prevent prosperity throughout the world.

Yet one final rebellion against God of Satan and those aligned.

This reign must begin after Christ comes back which begins 1000 year reign at the end of which Satan is released and destroyed.
