When can u give thumbs up to ground staff to open doors?
When u have checked:
Mode selected in manual position
Girt bar indicator flag viewing windows are black
Exit is clear
What should u note when passengers boarding?
Last cabin door must not be closed if pax are not seated.
If water is entering through open door, door should be closed immediately. Cockpit must be informed about water.
What to check before before closing door?
The door safety strap is fully retracted into the door frame.
No debris around door area.
When can you evacuate without captains permission?
In a ditching or if the plane is broken into pieces.

What are pre landing checks?
Hand baggage, passengers and galleys all secure.
Door primary check auto mode on door and girt bar indicator flag viewing window is yellow.
