Which stage has guilt?
Stage 3: Initiative vs Guilt
What is Trust vs Mistrust?
Stage 1: Children develop a sense of trust when caregivers provide reliability, care, and affection. A lack of this will lead to mistrust.
What is Autonomy vs Shame/Doubt?
Stage 2: Children who struggle and who are shamed for their accidents may be left without a sense of personal control. Success during this stage of psychosocial development leads to feelings of autonomy; failure results in feelings of shame and doubt.
What is autonomy?
The ability to do things independently and the feelings of self control, self confidence, self reliance and competence.
What is Initiative vs Guilt?
Stage 3: Children who are successful at this stage feel capable and able to lead others. Those who fail to acquire these skills are left with a sense of guilt, self-doubt, and lack of initiative.
What is Industry vs Inferiority?
Stage 4: Desire to learn how things are made, how they work and what they do. Capable of logical reasoning, and of planning and playing by the rules. They have to deal with social and academic demands.
What is Identity vs Role Confusion?
Stage 5: Identity - general picture individuals have of themselves
Confusion - a sense of not knowing who they are, where they belong, to whom they belong to or where they are headed in life
