. he would not treat a woman in his own social way but he feels that he can with eva because she is lower class

. eric openly and loudly, dismisses his afther in front of his family and gerald
. he shows that he doesnt respect his father at all , which leaves the audience wondering what their relationship will be like once the play finsihes
. eric is tired of his parents gtaking no responsbility for their actions and fed up of mr birlings obessesion with knighood and reoputation
. this line shows the breaking point in eric’s relationship with his parents
