Recent Mi, stroke, BP below 90
When is a patient considered a non responder to the afils
The patient should have recieved 6 doses at a max dose with sexual stimulation before being classed as a non responder
Second line of ED
Alprostadil under careful medical supervision
What is associated with alprpstadil
Priapism (prolonged erection) - seek medical attention if more than 4 hours
What is the patient and carer advice for alprostadil
Condoms
Reduce exposure to child beating age
Interactions of the -afils
Nitrates, CCB, alpha blockers
