A
-The big 3 = smoking, alcohol, diabetes
-Endocrine = hypogonadism, hyperthyroidism, increased prolactin
-Renal or liver failure
-Drugs = digoxin, b-blockers, diuretics, antidepressants, oestrogen, narcotics

What investigations would you do for someone with ED?
A
-Full sexual, drug and psychological Hx
-U+Es
-LFTs
-TFTs,
-LH + FSH
-Testosterone
-Prolactin
-Doppler of penile arterial supply

How would you manage ED?
A
-Treat cause
-Counselling
-Oral phosphodiesterase inhibitors eg sildenafil
