Remove hardened excess material

Pack and condense amalgam into a cavity preparation
What is the function of a double-ended pear/ball-shaped burnisher?
Polish and smooth amalgam/composite once condensed in cavity preparation (prevent microleakage)
What is the function of Miller forceps?
Secure articulating paper in place when checking occlusion

Sharply angled, slim probe with markings(mm)
