Equations, Units, Conversions, SIN, COS Flashcards
sin (0) vs cos (0)?
Values of each for angles of: 30, 45, 60, 90 respectively.
Sin (0) = 0 Cos (0) = 1 Sin: 0.5, 0.707, 0.866, 1 Cos: 0.866, 0.707, 0.5, 0
What is the bump trick for logarithms?
log(1000) = 3
log is shorthand for log10 , take the 10 and move it over and bump the 3 up to an exponent, so 103 = 1000
What are the log rules?
- log (1) = 0
- logX (X) = 1
- log (10x) = x
- log (n * m) = log (n) + log (m)
- log (n/m) = log (n) - log (m)
- log (x) = log (1/x)
Equations for power?
P = V x I
P = I2 x R
P = V2/R
P = w / t
pH equation?
