Farming - Hard to compete with offshore stocks and suppliers.
Fishing - Cheaper stocks from different places in Europe due to us joining the EU led to a decline in the industry. Brexit hasn’t solved this issue.
Mining - resources have been depleted, offshore stocks are cheaper.
Quarrying - china clay quarries have replaced people with technology, and moved production to Brazil.
