What is Bartter’s Syndrome
A
Inherited cause (usually autosomal recessive) of severe hypokalaemia due to defective chloride absorption at the Na+ K+ 2Cl- cotransporter in the ascending loop of Henle. Present with fatigue. Normotensive hypokalaemia.
