Digestive tract, reproductive tract and respiratory tract.
What disease affects columnar tissue?
Pyometra
Where is glandular tissue found?
Sweat glands and pancreas.
What does glandular tissue do?
Produces and released substances.
Where is transitional tissue found?
Vessels.
What do transitional tissue do?
Stretch and accommodate different volumes.
Where is stratified tissue?
Around the edge of the mouth and skin.
What does stratified tissue do?
Protect from abrasion and mechanical stress.
What disease affects stratified tissue?
Myxomatosis.
Where is pseudostratified tissues?
The respiratory tract.
What do pseudostratisfied tissues do?
Remove debris/ mucus.
