Special notes?

A

Don’t mix with Alkaline solutions. EpiPen = 0.3 mg 1 to 1000
EpiPen = 0.15 mg 1 to 2000
Pregnancy category C

A

1:1000 (1 mg in 1 ml)
•anaphylaxis
•above 60Ibs=0.3mg IM
•under 60Ibs=0.15mg IM

Monitor, report, document?

A

Breath sounds, vital signs within five minutes after administration.
Effect on heart rate.
Continuous ECG monitoring.
