What is an Accountability Chart?
A clear illustration of organizational structure that clarifies roles and responsibilities for everyone in the organization
It helps achieve the company’s vision over the next six to twelve months.
What does GWC stand for?
Gets It, Wants It, Capacity to Do It
It is a tool used to evaluate a person’s fit for a specific role on the Accountability Chart.
What is the first question to ask in the GWC evaluation?
Get It?
It assesses if the person understands what is expected in their role.
What does ‘Want It?’ evaluate in the GWC framework?
Whether the role excites the person and if they are self-motivated to perform well.
What is assessed under ‘Capacity to Do It’ in GWC?
Natural talent, skills, experience, and training to perform the job well.
What does IDS stand for?
Identify, Discuss, Solve
A discipline to help leaders resolve issues permanently.
What is the purpose of the Identify phase in IDS?
To determine the root cause of the issue before discussing or solving it.
What is emphasized during the Discuss phase of IDS?
Objectivity and avoiding defensiveness while discussing the issue.
What is the goal of the Solve phase in IDS?
To develop and agree on a plan of action to permanently resolve the issue.
What is a Level 10 Meeting (L10)?
A weekly meeting designed to solve problems and improve productivity.

Reviewing the team’s metrics.

- Plus (+) - lives the core value most of the time
- Plus/Minus (+/-) - inconsistent
- Minus (-) - does not live the core value most of the time

Right People fit the company’s culture and have the skills to excel in their roles.

Specific, concrete goals to accomplish within 90 days.
