Holding Speeds
- At or Below 6000ft MSL: 200KIAS
- 6001ft to 14000ft MSL: 230KIAS
- Above 14001ft MSL: 265KIAS

From Departure to Destination then to Alternate Plus 45 minutes at normal cruise. (If 2nd alternate, enough to fly to furthest alternate + 45 minutes at normal cruise)
What regulation determines alcohol consumption?
FAR 91.17
- Cannot be under the influence of alcohol
- 8 hours bottle to throttle
- BAC of 0.4
121 Flight Time Limitations

1000hrs in any calendar year, 100hrs in any calendar month, 30 hours in 7 consecutive days, 8 hours between rest periods
How long to notify FAA you have moved?
30 days
How long to notify FAA if you lose certificate?
Must notify immediately
(Document that is in use of lost certificate is only valid for 60 days)
Oxygen Requirements for pressurized aicraft
Above FL250 10minute supply is required for everyone on board, FL350 required crew must wear unless both pilots have quick donning mask(put on in less than 5 seconds), if one pilot leaves to restroom other pilot must wear his oxygen.
When do you need a 2nd alternate?
When weather at destination and first alternate are to be marginal(destination visibility it at minimums for expected approach)

White until the last 2000ft or half of the runway, then yellow.
When is ILS critical hold short area in effect?
WX less than 800-2
What does Grid MORA ensure?
GRID MORA will give you 1000 ft separation from terrain when terrain is less than 5001 ft and 2000 ft separation when terrain is more than 5000 ft.
