Explain the Cellulose tape ?
where a clear adhesive cellulose tape is applied to the anal area early in the morning before bathing or defecation. This is then observed under a microscope for the presence of pinworm eggs. These eggs may also be stained blue with lactophenol cotton blue, which aids in detection and identification. The sensitivity of this test when performed for three consecutive mornings is 90%

How we control the infection of pinworm
Treatment of the source of the infection (whole family)
Health education and personal hygiene
The hand should be washed with soap and warm water after using the toilet, changing diapers, and before handling food
The body should be washed well
The nails should be cut
The underwear should be changed everyday
The house should be cleaned well and have as much sunlight as possible
