- Perforation of TM: flap of tissue wraps around and starts to grow into cholesteatomas
- General faulty growth of skin induced by idiopathic means

What is a perilymphatic fistula?
Abnormal opening in the bony part of the inner ear that allows perilymph to leak from the semicircular canals into the middle ear. It is a curable form of Sensineuronal Hearing Loss (SNHL) thru a surgical procedure.
