Normal Db levels on audiometry
A
Readings at all frequencies will be between 0 and 20 dB, at the top of the chart.

Sensorineural hearing loss pattern
A
Both bone and air conduction will be higher than 20dB

Conductive hearing loss
A
Bone conduction will be normal but air conduction is worsened

Mixed hearing loss
A
Both air and bone conduction readings will be more than 20 dB in patients with mixed hearing loss.
However, there will be a difference of more than 15 dB between the two (bone conduction > air conduction).

Presbycusis
A
Worsening of hearing at higher frequencies
