Viral Conjunctivitis

Mild pain in eye worse with extraocular movements
Loss of color vision and relative afferent pupillary defect
What is it
Optic Neuritis
Blurred vision, moderate eye pain for a day
Circumcorneal conjunctival injection, pupil size is small, papillary light reflex is poor

Acute Anterior Uveitis
Sudden loss of vision in one eye
No pain or erythema
Retinal hemorrhages noted in all quadrants and edema of optic disk

Central Retina-VEIN occlusion
Pale retina, normal macula, cherry-red spot
What is it?
Central Retinal-ARTERY occlusion
What treatment shrinks the size of nasal polyps
Corticosteroid spray
Loss of peripheral vision
Increased cupping noted
Primary Open Angle Glaucoma
Eye pain, photophobia, decreased vision for a day
Eye is red with circumcorneal injection and purulent discharge
Central circular corneal ulcer

Fluorescein staining shows dendritic ulcer in center of cornea
