What is chronological order
Events being told in the order they happened
What affect does chronological order have on the reader
Makes the reader feel as if they were in the action.
What is non chronological order
Events being told in a
different order to how they

What is a flashback
A section where we suddenly ‘go back in time’ and experience something thay has happened as if it is in the present
What effect does first person have on the reader
First person makes the reader feel as if they are expereincing the events side by side with a character. It also limits the amount of perception the reader can have
How would you write in second person
Use words like you, as if the writer is speaking directly to the reader.
What effect does third person give
Makes the reader feel as if they are looking in on the characters. Very immersive if done well, but much harder to make immersive than fist person
What is soliloqy
A speech an actor makes to themselves or the audience NoT another actor
