Why was the English Civil War important?
The English civil war was important because it decided who was going to rule England.

How did religious problems lead to the war?
because the king had married a catholic woman which worried England because at that time England was protestant so they had to stop the king otherwise they all would have to become Catholics. The new Archbishop started to make England look more catholic, but the Parliament did not like it.
How did Political problems cause the English civil war?
Political problems caused the English civil war because the parliament wasn’t giving money to the king because he did things by himself, so then he couldn’t maintain his lifestyle and he needed money for war against the Scots.
