camels nose. once you see the camels nose came in to the tent the rest of the camel will come in. (negative) ex. you did one thing/ disaster will come
reductive fallacy (fallacy)
cause. small of a reason to be responsible for the effect

process of thinking/reasoning that goes from general to the specific **way of thinking

start with specific (specific question.. “i wonder if..”)
- careful observation
- need to observe before making the claim
