Ask about plans. 3 options
What are your plans?
What have you got going on today?
What are you going to do today? or What are you doing today?
The Second Conditional
We use the second conditional to talk aimpossible situations in the present or future:
If + past simple, would/could + verb
Example:
If I were rich, I’d spend all my time travelling
The third conditional
We use the third conditional to talk about impossible situations, as in the second conditional, in the past
If + past perfect, would/could + have + past participle
Example:
If we had left earlier, we would have arrived on time.
Mixed Conditionals
It’s possible to combine the second and third conditional in one sentence when we want to make a hypothesis about the past that has a consequence in the present
If + past perfect, would/could verb
If you had studied harder, you would be at a higher level now.
