Until 1066, England speaks an older German language
In 1066, we throw French in and it will be 43% of the English we speak today

(which is part French, part German; it is a Germanic language)

Went around countryside preaching economic rebellion/social justice
Angry that poll tax was tripled and exemptions were removed (it USED to be ⅓ the amount, and there were many, many exemptions
