A

proteins are stored as amino acids, used for muscle growth and repair rather then an energy source. (takes a long time to metabolize for energy)

Fats are stored as fatty acids in abundant supply. Fats are an ideal energy source for low- to moderate-intensity activity. (takes longer then carbs to metabolise but last longer).
