Q

What is symbiosis and the types?

A

Symbiosis is the relationship among organisms. There are 5 types:
•Predation- One organism benefits while the other one dies (+, X)
•Competition- two or more organisms compete for sources, shelter, etc.
•Parasitism- One organism benefits while the other one is harmed (+, -)
•Commensalism- One organism benefits while the other one neither benefits or is harmed.
•Mutualism- Both organisms benefit (+, +)

Q

What is the carbon cycle?

A

the series of processes by which carbon compounds are interconverted in the environment, chiefly involving the incorporation of carbon dioxide into living tissue by photosynthesis and its return to the atmosphere through respiration, the decay of dead organisms, and the burning of fossil fuels.
