Radiation from the sun

Green plants and Algae.

Chemical energy.

Photosynthesis.
What is a Primary Consumer?
A creature that gets its energy from consuming (eating) other organisams.
What is a Producer?
green plants and algae
they make food by photosynthesis
What is a secondary consumers?
they are carnivores that are the second in the food chain for example cats, dogs and lions.
What is a predator?
an animal that kill for food, they are either secondary or tertiary consumers
What is prey?
the animals that predators feed on.
What is a scavenger?
an animal that feed on dead animals for example, crows, vultures and hyenas are scavengers.
What is a decomposer?
an animal that feeds on dead and decaying organisms, and on the undigested parts of plant and animal matter in faeces
