Q

Bartlett and Steele-the Great Energy Scam

A

to qualify for tax credits, the makers of coal only have to carry about a process to slightly alter the coal, not actually make it any more efficient.

if the tax credits end, so will the industry.

the IRS never gets to investigate cause congress always stops it somehow

Q

Glaeser- the folly of fixing energy price hikes

A

politicans react to high oil prices as if the bill of rights gave americans the right to cheap fuel

learned that fixing prices below market level only produces shortages

using tax policy to lower prices is only slightly less foolish. it rewards people for using more fuel. higher prices force people to be more efficient
