What is energy?
Energy is the ability to do work or to perform a task.
What is potential energy?
energy that is stored, for example, wood or coal.
What is Kinetic energy?
the energy of movement, for example, riding on your bike or swimming.
What is heat energy?
energy that heats, for example, the sun or a gas heater.
What is light energy?
Can also be called radiant energy, for example, a light bulb and torch.
What is electric energy?
It is the energy that comes from electricity, for example, microwave and radio that is plugged in.
What is chemical energy?
The energy that our bodies get from food. Other examples: petrol and batteries.
What is sound energy?
The energy that we can hear, for example, sounds that we hear, sounds on the radio, or the sound that your keyboard makes when you type.

What is the law of conservation of energy?
The law of conservation of energy states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, merely converted from one form to another.
What does it mean when we talk about the ‘source of energy’
It is the root/origin where the energy comes from
