Energy securityis the association between national securityand the availability of natural resources for energyconsumption.
Why is energy important?
Access to cheapenergyhas become essential to the functioning of modern economies.
How is oil protected while getting transported?
Oil has to be transported back to places like the US and UK through ships, and Military bases are formed (usually in the form of naval ships) to protect the oil through military action if needed.
