How do you classify it?

A

Type 1: well differentiated adenocarcinoma ?oestrogen responsive
Type 2: high grade, worse prognosis. ?eostrogen not responsive

Risk factors?

A

Increased endogenous oestrogen

  • obesity
  • pcos
  • early menarche, late menopause

Increased exogenous oestrogen

  • tamoxifen
  • oestrogen only hrt

Hereditary non-polyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC)

A

95% present with Abnormal intermenstrual uterine bleeding/post-menopausal

Treatment?

A

Majority diagnosed stage 1 low risk -> surgery with hysterectomy/bilateral salpingo-oopherectomy

Few after receive adjuvant radiotherapy an chemotherapy.
