- Esophagitis - Should be taken sitting up while drinking a LOT OF WATER.
- Hypocalcemia.
- Osteomalacia.
- Osteonecrosis of the jaw.

- Neutropenia.
- Lower granulocyte levels - Inhibiting bone marrow.
- Purpuric skin lesions may also occur.
