Q

what are the symptoms and signs of pituitary adenoma

A
  • mass effects include headache and altered vision (bitemporal hemianopia)
  • hormonal effects include hypopituitarism, hypogonadism, adrenal insufficiency, hypothyroidism, DI and GH deficiency
  • alternatively, hypersecretion of pit hormones is observed
