A

parathyroid hyperplasia (95%) –> hyperPTH
pituitary (70%)
pancreas (50%, e.g. Insulinoma, gastrinoma)
also: adrenal and thyroid

Zollinger-Ellison

A

PC: abdo pain + diarrhoea + malabsorption

excessive gastrin –> multiple gastroduodenal ulcers
usually from gastrinoma in duodenum or pancreas

diagnose with fasting gastrin or secretin stimulation test

manage with high-dose PPIs

1/3 have MEN-1
