What is homeostasis?
The maintenance of a constant internal environment achieved by the regulation of conditions within the body, such as temperature, ph level, water content and carbon dioxide levels.
What are ‘hormones’?
Hormones are chemical messages within the body that travel within the bloodstream to the bodily organs.
