Hormones
Hormones that are made of small chains of amino acids.
Peptide Hormones
a group of substances derived from cholesterol which exert a wide range of effects on processes such as growth, metabolism, and sexual differentiation.
Steroid Hormones
This is derivatives of amino acids and some are soluble in blood.
Amine Hormones
Stimulates growth in tissue and bone
Growth Hormone
Used to initiate labor, promote delivery of placenta and control post-partum
hemorrhage
Oxytocin
Releases neurotransmitters Norepinephrine and Epinephrine
